Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers has faced several injuries this season, including a broken thumb and injured ribs.
He is currently experiencing knee discomfort, but he has stated that he does not have any concerns about his availability for the upcoming game against the Minnesota Vikings (12-3) on Sunday.
Rodgers did not participate in practice on Wednesday due to the knee issue, but he plans to return to practice later in the week and considers Wednesday’s absence more of a veteran rest day.
“I think I’ll be out there tomorrow and it will be business as usual,” said Rodgers.
During the Green Bay Packers’ recent victory over the Miami Dolphins, quarterback Aaron Rodgers appeared to injure his left knee when he was sacked by Eric Rowe.
Despite the injury, Rodgers remained in the game and helped lead the team to a comeback victory.
He has stated that he has been undergoing rehab for the injury and is feeling better.
This season, Rodgers has started in all 15 of the team’s games, but his time on the field has been hindered by injuries.
In October, he sustained a broken right thumb during a game against the New York Giants, which contributed to a five-game losing streak for the team.
In November, he suffered injuries to his ribs and had to leave a game against the Philadelphia Eagles. However, he returned to play in the following game against the Chicago Bears, and the team has since been on a winning streak.
Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers has experienced a decline in performance this season, throwing a career-high 11 interceptions and posting a passer rating of 91.3, his lowest since becoming a starter in 2008.
Some speculate that injuries may have played a role in Rodgers’ performance this season, as he has previously led the league in passer rating in 2020 and 2021, earning MVP awards in both seasons.
Despite his struggles, the Packers have won three straight games and are in contention for a playoff spot.
They need to win their final two games and receive some help from the Washington Football Team or the New York Giants in order to secure a fourth consecutive postseason appearance.
Rodgers has contributed to comeback victories in two of the team’s three recent wins, and has played despite injuries to key offensive linemen.
